Bernhard Schulz combines deep, academically grounded computer science knowledge with the pragmatic delivery skills gained from 25 years of hands-on experience. As a recognised FileMaker expert and passionate full-stack developer, he is your direct point of contact for complex digital projects – from the first architectural idea to stable operation.

Expertise

  • Programming & apps: Many years of experience in custom software with Java, JavaScript, PHP and C#, as well as the design and development of apps for iOS and Android.
  • Databases & infrastructure: Experienced with SQL and NoSQL systems and a specialist in reliable Linux hosting.
  • Deployment & security: Dependable server setup (deployment) and protection of systems with firewalls and up-to-date security concepts.
  • Embedded & AI: Open to specialist topics such as low-level embedded programming and the practical use of artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Knowledge transfer: Regular speaker at international IT conferences and author of technical articles and blog posts on bernhard-schulz.at.

Rooted in the region

As an active representative in the UBIT professional group (Fachgruppe UBIT – management consulting, accounting and IT) of the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce (Wirtschaftskammer Salzburg) and as a member of the Bergheim business association (Wirtschaftsbund Bergheim), we are strongly committed to the regional economy and entrepreneurship.

Bernhard Schulz is the organiser and project manager of eDay Salzburg, the free specialist conference of the UBIT professional group for entrepreneurs in Salzburg. Under the motto ‘Secure. Intelligent. Live: your digital future, on site.’ (‘Sicher. Intelligent. Live: Ihre digitale Zukunft vor Ort.’), it focuses on the practical implementation of AI, cybersecurity, data protection and digitalisation. The next edition takes place on 4 March 2027 at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (FH Salzburg) in Puch-Urstein.

25 years of schubec: congratulations from the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce

In March 2026, the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce honoured Bernhard Schulz for 25 years as an entrepreneur. The award ‘A Salzburg success story for 25 years’ (‘Eine Salzburger Erfolgsgeschichte seit 25 Jahren’) recognises a quarter of a century of software, hosting and consulting from Salzburg – and the clients who have been on this journey with us since 2001.
